About the event
Two nights when the Palace turns into a late-night jazz club. Saxophonist Kamron Ergashev and his Amber Room Quartet play standards, bossa nova and their own pieces, in which the modes of Uzbek maqom meet swing and hard bop.
They are joined by vocalist Nigora Salimova and a young horn section from the Tashkent jazz scene. Long solos, improvisation that is different every night and a warm, unhurried atmosphere — an evening best shared with friends.
The concert runs about two hours without an intermission.
